Dear editor,
I am here (again!) to put my opinion in the line for controversial topics. This time, the Gracchus Brothers. Okay, we all know them, we all know how they got murdered (well, one of them anyways) and we all know they were trying to reform rome. But what you didn’t know, is that their deaths sparked violence among the republic. So, I really liked the Gracchus Brothers. Why did the senate have to kill him?
Answer: Because they hated them, Duh! The senate, at the time, was full of the nasty Latifundia, the rich, greedy, and ruthless people, just to get rich-er. They didn’t really care about the homeless romans, dying, suffering in the streets. That’s why they had Tiberius and Gaius Gracchus assassinated. Because if they didn’t, they would lose a bit of their wealthiness. Man, the Latifundia are mean.
Sternly,
Matthaei Consentia
